Quick butterfly update-- one already came out of the cocoon! The bottom picture is not that great- but I wanted to show how little he is right now, and (yikes!) I was not expecting blood! The book didn't say anything about that! We put sugar water on flower petals (for food) in the bottom to help him grow/gain strength.
Blood?! Wow! I wouldn't have expected that either! How strange! (And yet, cool!!)
