Friday, Dee's sister comp'd us tickets to see the Johnny Winter Band. She is the talent agent for the opening band (and the drummer's girlfriend) so we had great seats. This is a cell phone pic from the concert:

That's not a great picture, right? wait...
*this* is a picture from their website:

yeah--our concert pic is looking better about right now, huh? Despite their "factory haunting" looks and Johnny's decrepit age, they can still jam. We had a pretty good time!
Spencer watched the space shuttle launch via teleconference with Boppa. I watched the previous shuttle launch off the coast of Florida from the cruise ship. This one was a bit less fun sitting in my living room without a fruity drink; however, it was nice to see Spencer get excited.

so did you enjoy the concert?
Snap to it with the blogging! I can't keep up with you any other way.
dog! that dude is ancient!
I'm speechless.
OMGoodness decrepit is right - he looks like he should have retired many moons ago LOL. Glad you had a good time.
Hmmm unfortunately I'm with you on the lack of blogging front - there just enough hours in the day of late :(
I have no words for the band. But - you gotta love technology!
